The Arizona State Legislature proclaimed June 12th “Xochilt Luna Day.”
The legislature took time to make the declaration after Senior Xochilt Luna was selected the recipient of the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange scholarship. The scholarship enabled Xochilt to spend her senior year abroad in Germany!
Of course, we want to thank German Teacher Mary Walther for her contributions, fundraising, and guidance she gave to Xochilt on her way to this honor!
