Choir Director Tamara Krause was named an A+ Teacher by 12 News on March 5.during 3rd hour; Krause was recognized after parents submitted her name and contributions to 12 News.
Principal Jonathan Parker said, “The recent recognition of Ms. Krause merely confirms what those of us with the good fortune to work with her every day already know: She’s extraordinary.”
Krause received the honor after taking 37 students to Regional Choir, and just before she takes several members of choir to New York City to perform at Lincoln Center.
12 News honored Krause with a $500 check as well as featuring her on the news.
Parker continued, “A devoted, compassionate, and caring teacher, she represents the best of our profession and serve as a wonderful ambassador to represent the faculty, staff and community of Sunnyslope.”
