Not many pop stars are really known for being creative with Country music. But just recently Musician Beyonce changed that BIG time.
Beyonce’s new album Renaissance act II: Cowboy Carter is crossing over pop with country; it has her covering the famous Beatles song “Blackbird”.
Her rendition of the ballad brings a new perspective that really emphasizes the commentary on racial injustice that Musician Paul McCartney was writing about at the time.
Another standout track is “II Most Wanted” featuring Miley Cyrus.
This duet showcases both singers’ talent in harmonizing and illustrates Western imagery that contributes to the country aspect of her album.
It also has a song named after the famous poker phrase called “Texas Hold ‘Em”.
Listening to Cowboy Carter is like we’re definitely heading for a new direction in the Country Music category but in a good way.
This seems to be sparking a lot of other pop stars to try something new and unusual.
In a way, we’re saluting and paying tribute to all past and present Country music stars who changed the world and Beyonce is helping do just that.
This album is smashing the charts right now and you can find it on Spotify, Apple music, or at a store near you.
