The aliens slowly start to reach closer, and the blasters slowly become useless. They start to reach closer and closer, suddenly the screen goes red, “Game Oover.”
Michelle Schwimmer is a chemistry teacher and like other teachers, she teaches honors on the subject. Every four years she teaches a group of Freshmen which is this year.
In the class, projects are prioritized over classwork and homework. Doing more projects leads to better building, leadership, and teamwork skills Freshmen Hayden Ayer said “We do a lot of fun activities in there.” If you are a lucky freshman, you’ll learn the basics of Isci but in a more fun and interactive way “We do projects and fun activities,” said Freshman Azul Figueroa. Schwimmer also runs a couple of clubs, the KEY club, and gaming club, two clubs with opportunities to learn more.
Schwimmer is a patient, helpful, and a joyful teacher. “She’s very patient and her teaching is very engaging,” Ayer said. Even though sometimes she may
become angry with the class, most of the time she will be in a good mood. With past experiences in the military, she has gotten a better understanding of stress in everyone’s life. She also has school spirit participating in activities the school has. This leads to less work, more learning, and high success.
Don’t worry if you didn’t get her Freshman year, for she teaches chemistry as well. Talk to your counselor about signing up for her class, but if THAT doesn’t work. Sign up for KEY/Gaming club.
