he room is always lively, the Teacher loves to interact with her students. While the students are having a good time they equally get their work done. People love her class and even more is the way she teaches and bonds with each of her students.
One of this year’s highlights was the film project at the end of the year that lets students express their creativity. Mrs. Parker’s English 3-4 class: while she makes learning fun, she also makes sure the students get everything she assigns completed. She knows everyone’s names and makes the student feel at home in her class. We have learned better grammar, reading comprehension, older literature, and much more.
We had so much fun reading various books on our own and writing a review and what we have learned reading from it, we made posters that we designed to go with the books we read.
If you take this class you can expect to be in a class book club of four or more people who read the same book as you and meet every other wednesday, at the very end we make a movie altogether that summarizes the book we read.
We also have learned Shakespeare’s literature. At the end of the year we read Othello, a tale where a good man gets consumed by jealousy because he is tricked by someone who thought was his friend.
Sophomore Omar Adame said “Mrs. Parker is a great teacher, I have great memories of this year”.
“The class is great, I have learned a lot of great things” Adame said “This is a class worth taking.
Mrs. Parker is a teacher that cares about each student individually and equally.
You will have a better Sophomore year if you take this class, if you go and see your counselor make sure to choose Mrs. Parkers English 3-4 class as soon as possible.
