The journalism class has future article writers, visual Artists, and journalists who will bring all kinds of important information to the public about what’s occurring in the world. Freshman Jakobe Swift states, ”Journalism has impacted my future academic and career goals very well.” Swift talks in his interview about how journalism has impacted his future career and how it has influenced him throughout two whole semesters of taking Mr.King’s journalism Freshman Jakobe Swift states ”Journalism has impacted my future academic and career goals very well.”journalism class: “I think I will be attending like another journalism class and doing more articles and writing.” It has inspired Swift to continue his journey of journalism.
Swift was asked what makes Mr.King’s Journalism class different from other classes he’s taken;He stated “The class has more creativity to it.” The environment of a class is important because it can also impact the learning and the aspects of how students feel. “Freshman Vivieanne Won stated “Mr.king taught us a lot throughout the year and everything he made us do really made me realize I had passion for journalism.” Won also explained that it boosted her confidence and the environment was very comfortable to be in.
“I never thought writing could be this fun. Mr. King’s class made me realize I liked writing about stories and creating visuals. I was also shy but now I’m very extroverted” Freshman Mai Curtis stated when interviewed.
