Lights, camera, action! Welcome back to KSHS Studios. Today’s weather may be gloomy with a sense of urgency to go around. As we wrap up the school year we have all enjoyed everyone’s time.
Sunnyslope announcements are not all about just talking about the weather, the events that might come up, special shoutouts, and more. Film n Tv is the Soul of Sunnyslope and it is what is keeping the people and the school alive today.
Being involved in school electives might give many an opportunity they may have realized they were never really interested in.
For example, Film and Tv goes into the depths of editing and shows great qualities that might go into editing short films. Whether that’s having a group project or solo project, people in Film n Tv will always take a creative route into their filming.
Creativity and thinking outside the box are great qualities to incorporate when working on a short film or commercial. Such as filming in a different community, different people, and different backgrounds. These are all great aspects into making great content for the rest of the class.
Film n Tv teacher Mr. Preston, has worked here for many years and says that he loves his job and the great work he grades every day. “ The best part of my job is showing my students how to edit their videos for great quality and neatness and what they are able to create with their creative minds,” says Mr. Preston. He also mentions that it’s possible for anyone to join Film n tv and that anybody could achieve great filming skills in a blink of an eye.
What do Sunnyslope students really think of Film n Tv? Junior Janet Morales explains, “ Film n Tv is probably one of my favorite classes due to this class being very group worthy and you can count on almost anyone to help you with your videos and editing. We are all really just a collective class that supports everyone else.”
Senior Citlaly Calderon mentions, “ Film n Tv is so fun when you have a good group in your class and when we are filming outside of school. It is always a good time.”
Although it may seem stressful. Being able to break away from your studies and focusing on a fun hobby may find you peace and opportunities. Film n Tv is one of the most fun classes to take on campus and is always looking for more people to join.
