Vice Principal of Students Services Demetria Andrews took to the KSHS announcements on Thursday to recognize some “incredibly special students” who achieved Commended Students in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Seniors Alexandra Daley, Jackson Kizzire, and Alexander Trush received the honor after doing exceptional on last year’s PSAT.
The students are among the 34,000 students across the country receiving said designation.
Andrews reminded Slope how exceptional the award was on the announcements and urged everyone to congratulate the students, and give them a “fist bump” if you see them around campus.
