The varsity softball team raised money for Go4TheGoal, a non-profit organization, March 25 to provide support for pediatric cancer patients and their families according to Assistant Coach Andy Page.

The team did so by selling yellow ribbons for $1 to the crowd at the annual Go4TheGoal LaceUp Game held at Sunnyslope.

According the Go4TheGoal website, 43 children are diagnosed with cancer every day in the U.S.
