Banners decorate the walls, culture surrounding the room, and spirit everywhere. The songs and laughter can be heard from classrooms down, bringing smiles to the faces of the other teachers who hear it: they all know where it’s coming from. Joy, laughter, and support are some of the many things a student will find in Sandra Zemaitis’s German 1-2 class.
The main goal of German 1-2: learn with no stress. Frau Zemaitis’ German class will make any student feel heard and welcome while taking the stress away from learning this beautiful new language.
Zemaitis’ class is a place where students learn vocabulary, speaking, and culture while having the time of their lives doing so.
This class is like a dream world where school is more about learning than grades. Zemaitis makes learning comfortable and fun, adjusting it to the student’s pace. German 1-2 is like sipping a warm cup of hot chocolate, comforting and reassuring, learning without the rush and stress like other classes.
Zemaitis makes the students feel comfortable enough to bravely speak a new language while also challenging them. The homework is easy and only some days a week. She works with their schedule to ensure their success in the class.\

“I really like this class, anytime I’m in here it feels peaceful but energetic,” said Freshman Mattea Talkington
